Board of Directors
The Northwest Christian Schools Association Board of Directors is composed of committed followers of Christ who are passionate about advancing the Gospel and making disciples for the furtherance of God’s Kingdom. NCSA’s Board brings both spiritual conviction and practical experience, having assembled a remarkable team of directors who have worked together for several years within a local Christian school setting. This shared history fosters unity, trust, and a deep understanding of Christian education, enabling the Board to provide faithful leadership, wise counsel, and strong support for the mission and member schools of the Association.

CEO & Director of School Governance
This role provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the NCSA by overseeing governance, policy development, and organizational compliance. It ensures all programs and initiatives align with the association’s mission, vision, and biblical foundations while leading partnerships with Christian schools, districts, and accreditation bodies. The position facilitates leadership development for Heads of School, Principals, and governing boards, and guides long-term planning, sustainability
Debbie Cordero
Director of Academics
This role provides leadership in academic quality, curriculum standards, and instructional excellence across member schools. Responsibilities include leading the Academic & Curriculum Academy, developing curriculum frameworks and assessment models, supporting Academic Directors and instructional coaches through training and mentorship, and guiding academic improvement initiatives. The position ensures intentional biblical worldview integration throughout curriculum and instructional systems and supports schools through accreditation processes related to teaching and learning standards.
Jackie Herrell
Director of Teacher Instruction
This role leads the Teacher Excellence Academy and oversees teacher-focused professional development initiatives that strengthen instructional quality and classroom effectiveness. Responsibilities include guiding best practices in lesson design and classroom management, developing coaching and mentorship pathways, and providing instructional support tools. The position collaborates closely with academic teams to ensure teaching methods align with curriculum goals and intentional biblical worldview integration.
Director of Programs
This role oversees the planning, coordination, and delivery of professional development programs in collaboration with partner schools. Responsibilities include managing NCSA training programs, workshops, conferences, and school-wide initiatives; overseeing online learning systems and program logistics; supporting the development of training materials and procedural resources; and ensuring smooth administrative execution across association functions. The position works closely with school leaders to customize professional development plans, leadership pathways, and training modules that meet the unique needs of principals, heads of school, boards, and emerging leaders.
Director of Office Administration
This role oversees administrative operations for the association by managing communication systems, organizational workflows, and office protocols. It coordinates registration, documentation, and logistical support for programs and events while ensuring administrative compliance and effective recordkeeping. The position also supports member schools in developing efficient front office systems, customer service excellence, and volunteer utilization, including oversight and coordination of Family Ministry programs.
CFO & Director of Finance
This role provides leadership in financial stewardship and accountability by overseeing budgeting, accounting, and fiscal compliance for the association. It supports partner schools through financial transparency, sustainable funding strategies, and long-term planning, while leading training initiatives such as the School Financial Management Academy. The position also offers guidance in internal controls, tuition and financial aid systems, grant development, and the financial components of accreditation processes to ensure organizational stability and growth.
